Position located in Clewiston, FL

Overview

Responsible for providing level one technical assistance and support for issues related to all computer hardware, software, printers and communication devices for up to 1,700 employees. We are looking for a person who can provide excellent customer service and has a desire to succeed and learn.

Responsibilities

  • Provides level 1 helpdesk support to include phone support and performing diagnostic troubleshooting steps
  • Installs computer software for Microsoft Office as well as company specific software and troubleshoots problems when needed
  • Provide first level contact, conveys updates and resolutions to customer issues
  • Identifies and escalates situations requiring immediate or urgent attention
  • Follows up with customers, providing feedback and driving problems through to resolution
  • Utilizes excellent customer service skills and exceeds customers’ expectations
  • Ensures proper recording, documentation and closure of issues
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
  • Tracks new hire set up and employee termination, manages employee moves
  • Assists employees with management of their Windows and SAP accounts
  • Manages and tracks all computer assets

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, (Windows 7, 10, Microsoft Office 2013, 2016 and 2019)
  • Working knowledge of the fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Good analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work alone or in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and documentation management skills
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Provide support after hours / weekend /holidays. Will receive overtime pay
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience
  • Degree or certifications in Information Technology (A+, Network +, Security +, Microsoft certs, etc.)
